The International Risk Partnership (IRP) was founded in 2009 as an independent consultancy to help national credit bureau, lenders and telecom operators compete successfully by maximising the value derived from data, analytics and software. Today IRP provide credit bureau experts, consultants and risk management expertise including a wealth of international knowledge.
With over 50 years of experience the International Risk Partnership are now working directly with credit bureau and lenders to help them adapt to the constant change in market conditions, to identify new opportunities and to accelerate their growth.
IRP have over twenty associates providing subject matter expertise for all aspects of the foundation, development and operational management of Credit Bureau. The founders have worked with 21 credit bureau in 19 countries across 5 continents and have been responsible for the deployment of over 2000 risk and fraud management solutions in 60 countries across the credit lifecycle. IRP has experience of working with the full spectrum of bureau in established and emerging markets where often micro finance predominates.
IRP are credit bureau experts that bring broad and deep experience of credit bureau operations and solutions across risk, marketing and fraud management covering both consumer and business information. The IRP team have been involved in Credit Bureau in over twenty international markets over the last twenty years as consultants, product strategists, managing directors and operational managers with P&L responsibility. Incorporated in 2009 the business now has over twenty associates providing subject matter expertise for all aspects of Credit Risk and Fraud Prevention. The founders have worked with over 200 lenders in 19 countries across 5 continents and have been responsible for the deployment of over 2000 risk and fraud management solutions in 60 countries across the credit lifecycle.

Andrew Wilson – Managing Partner has over twenty years’ experience of financial services markets and is an experienced business manager and consultant. He has worked at senior management level with many of the world’s leading banking and financial services organisations. He has helped these devise and execute programmes of change aligned to their business strategies including the development of new technical infrastructures. Andrew has worked in many countries including India, Russia, Poland, Netherlands, US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Denmark, South Korea, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Greece and Bulgaria.

Chris Slater – Partner has worked on the largest UK credit bureau for seven years where he became a recognised specialist in the operation of bureau, data quality and the development of value added products. He designed and developed several products including Trendview, a unique credit card customer management product. Chris managed the portfolio of scoring products including Delphi for new business, Delphi for Customer Management and Detect and masterminded the development of the infrastructure to move the UK bureau from an account level system to a consumer centric system. Chris has worked in most European markets, Africa and Australia

John Robinson – Partner has over 25 years experience working inside and with credit bureaus and decision analytics organisations world-wide. He is a highly experienced business and technology professional and has a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing credit risk and fraud solutions. Of particular note is the leadership to bring to market, from initial concept through full global rollout, Experian’s Strategy Management product suite and the International Credit Bureau Platform. John has worked in UK, Europe, Africa, North & South America, India, Asia and Australia
